Diaphragm valves, manufactured from Noryl PVC and mounted on the front of the Hi-Flo 9 control the service and backwash cycles. The unit is fully automatic in operation. The tank is protected internally by a layer of food-grade epoxy resin and externally by synthetic paint. The units can also be operated individually or in a twin configuration to achieve higher flow rates.
