Culligan water filter cartridges are manufactured from a range of materials chosen to suit specific applications and provide filtration levels from 25 down to 1 micron. The lifespan of a water filter is dependent on a number of factors including; the quality of incoming water, the flow rate, temperature and the required level of filtration. Most filters are disposable after one use, although specific filters can be cleaned and re-used to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
