Culligan’s proposal certainly seemed like an attractive solution. The automatic system uses a carbon filter, water softener and MFP4 RO plant. The Reverse Osmosis system reduces the high level of totally dissolved solids (TDS) that are prevalent in cooling water. This ‘clean’ water is then mixed with softened fresh water to provide top up for the cooling tower make up tank as needed.
Environmentally friendly and cost-effective, the equipment recycles 70% of their water back to the cooling tower system, resulting in only 30% going to the drain.
Re-Usable in more ways than one, this latest idea from Culligan can be tailored to meet client’s specific needs and easily adapted to cope with process water from other sources, such as cooling or washing applications within a manufacturing environment.
